LISA ALBAN · FENG SHUI MASTER AND ENERGY DESIGNER

An eye for possibility.

A thoughtful way forward.

I’m Lisa Alban, a Feng Shui Master and Energy Designer. I help homeowners connect how they want to live with the spaces they create, bringing together Feng Shui, thoughtful design, and practical guidance on layout, color, materials, and furnishings.

My work begins with close observation and listening. I look at how you move through your space, what draws your attention, and what feels unresolved. Together, we turn those insights into a clear direction for your home.

WHO I WORK WITH

The decisions that shape a home.

Most of my clients are homeowners in the Tampa Bay area, and virtual guidance is available for suitable projects. They often reach out when they are building a new home, renovating, or living with a room that doesn’t feel or function the way they want.

The questions are often specific. Where should the bed go? Which white works in this light? How do we choose materials that feel connected throughout the home?

HOW I WORK

Intuition, translated into practical decisions.

I pay attention to both how a space feels and how it functions. Feng Shui shapes how I read placement, flow, and the relationship between people and their surroundings.

We begin with your priorities and a close look at the space. I consider the light, layout, movement, and the balance of the five elements, using Feng Shui to understand how the environment supports your daily life. Those observations become practical recommendations shaped around you.

A single selection rarely stands alone. My role is to help you see how individual choices fit together, so you can move forward with a clear direction instead of reconsidering each decision in isolation. For builds and renovations, I help set priorities and communicate the design direction to your builder, architect, or other project professionals within our agreed scope.

You bring your experiences, preferences, and hopes for the space. I bring observation, creative direction, and a thoughtful process for moving forward.

HOW I CAME TO THIS WORK

I’ve always noticed how a space feels.

Long before I studied Feng Shui, I was rearranging my surroundings and noticing what changed. A different arrangement could help my bedroom feel more restful or make my studio a place where creativity came more easily.

In 2013, while trying to sell my home, I asked Feng Shui expert Steve Kodad for guidance. That experience deepened my curiosity about the relationship between our environments and our lives, and led me to formal study and certification.

Steve Kodad and I co-founded the Intrinsic School of Feng Shui and serve together as school directors. Today, that same curiosity informs my work with clients: looking closely, asking thoughtful questions, and recognizing possibilities that may be difficult to see when you’re living in the middle of them.

A COMPLETED PROJECT

From a homeowner’s sketch to a finished room.

A completed home bar along one wall: walnut-tone cabinets, a black granite counter with white veining, and lit shelves framing a central painting.

A homeowner came to me with her own sketch for a bar wall in her living area. My role was to translate that personal vision into a cohesive design, working through proportions, materials, cabinetry, and lighting so the storage, serving space, and artwork read as one composition.

ANOTHER CLIENT’S EXPERIENCE

“Lisa is so knowledgeable on interior design mixed with the energetics of feng shui. I just moved into my condo and came to Lisa for some advice on my wall in my Zen Den. I sent her some pics of the space and from that alone she was able to suggest specific items I could put on my walls that would match my space. She is quick to respond, kind with her input, and always has great ideas. Thank you so much for all of your help!!”

TEACHING AND SPEAKING

The conversation continues beyond the room.

Alongside my client work, I teach and speak about how our surroundings shape everyday life. I co-founded the Intrinsic School of Feng Shui, have presented at International Feng Shui Guild summits, co-host the Conscious Collaboration Podcast, and contributed a chapter to The Girl Boss Effect.
